SAN ANGELO, TX- As many San Angeloans have noticed, a Raising Cane’s is sprouting up at the corner of Knickerbocker Rd. and S. Jackson St, or 1702 Knickerbocker Rd. to be exact.
This week, LIVE! received information from Brooke Johnston on behalf of the Raising Cane’s company explaining that the restaurant will open its doors in mid-March.
Area Director for Raising Cane’s, Mike Spano said, “San Angelo has been our radar for years, but we’ve been waiting for the perfect location before breaking ground. Now that we’ve found it, we can’t wait to open our doors!”
The 2,700-square-feet building will be the 108th Raising Cane’s restaurant in Texas, and anywhere from 50-60 employment opportunities will arise for this establishment in the weeks to come.
Spano also added, “We’re looking forward to partnering with the San Angelo community, and getting involved with the local school and other non-profit organizations here as well.”
Raising Cane’s is most well-known for its “fresh, never frozen chicken fingers. Its craveable - some say addictive – secret-recipe Cane’s sauce, crinkle-cut fries, coleslaw, Texas toast, freshly brewed sweet tea and fresh-squeezed lemonade,” said Johnston.
Raising Cane’s was founded by Todd Graves in 1996. The restaurant was named after his yellow lab, Raising Cane.
The rapidly growing brand recently earned the distinction of being among the Top 10 quick service restaurant chains in the nation for 2015, according to the authorities Sandelman & Associates Quick-Track study, based on food quality, customer service, cleanliness and other factors.
