The following San Angelo, TX area schools and districts will be starting at 10:00 a.m. on Feb, 12, 2014 unless otherwise noted:

Ambleside 

Angelo Catholic School

Angelo State University classes will start on a 2-hour delay

Bronte ISD

Christoval ISD

Cornerstone Christian School

Eden ISD

Gingerbread House Preschool will at 9:00 am

Howard College

Paint Rock

Potter's Hand Christian School

Robert Lee ISD

Saint Luke's Child Development Center will be closed

San Angelo ISD classes will start on a 2-hour delay

Sterling City ISD

Veribest ISD

Wall ISD

Water Valley ISD

YMCA school

The following offices and organizations will open on a delay:

City Offices will open at 10:00 a.m.

City of San Angelo Development Corp meeting will start at 10:00 a.m.

County offices will open at 10:00 a.m.

Commissioners Court will begin at 10:30 a.m.

Goodfellow Air Force Base will open at 10:00 a.m. for non-essential personnel

Municipal Court hearings schedule for 9:00 have been pushed back to 10:00 a.m.

Oh look! The weather is supposed to remain the same through about 10:00 am tomorrow. Anyone wanna bet we do this all over again? At least the schools are on top of it. Correction: - Due to forecasted freezing fog and refreezing of road surfaces during the overnight hours, Goodfellow AFB will be delayed reporting for non-mission essential personnel until 1000 hours on Wednesday/12 February. When commuting to work in the morning, all personnel should proceed with caution/leave extra time, as there may still be some likelihood of "black ice" on roadways. The answer you are seeking is to build a central database with an API that allows the information to be disseminated. 

This site has the pieces already. Every entity has a node that they update. The information is then published via XML or RSS that anyone can directly subscribe or embed into HTML. Done.

The problem is, no one will update the central database. They'd rather email press releases. This town lives and dies in Adobe Acrobat and the *pdf and MS Word via Outlook. 

Edit: That's the value of having curators of data in this data-driven world. The people putting this information in place are creating value by vetting and aggregating it.
