San Angelo Winter Weather School Delays Wednesday, Feb. 12, 2014

Oh look! The weather is supposed to remain the same through about 10:00 am tomorrow. Anyone wanna bet we do this all over again? At least the schools are on top of it. I'm sure the rest of the town is hunkered down, drinking hot cocoa, catching up on the latest chick flick, and not even considering tomorrow. Here's your tax dollars going to effective coordination and communication: Schools: Changes Wednesday, Feb. 12, 2014 — Bronte ISD - classes will begin at 10 a.m. Cornerstone Christian School - classes will begin at 10 a.m. Eden ISD - classes will begin at 10 a.m., buses will run 2 hours late. Grape Creek ISD - classes will begin at 10 a.m., buses will run 2 hours late. Howard College and West Texas Training Center - classes will begin at 10 a.m. Robert Lee ISD - classes will begin at 10 a.m., buses will run 2 hours late. San Angelo ISD - classes on 2 hour delay, buses will run 2 hours late. Sterling City ISD - classes will begin at 10 a.m. TLCA - classes will begin at 10 a.m. Tom Green County offices delayed till 10 a.m. Tom Green County Commissioners court to begin at 10:30 a.m. Eden ISD - classes will begin at 10 a.m., buses will run 2 hours late. Veribest ISD - classes on 2 hour delay, buses will run 2 hours late. Wall ISD - classes will begin at 10 a.m., buses will run 2 hours late. YMCA - school and building will open at 10 a.m. Goodfellow AFB: - cricket...cricket...cricket.... Correction: - Due to forecasted freezing fog and refreezing of road surfaces during the overnight hours, Goodfellow AFB will be delayed reporting for non-mission essential personnel until 1000 hours on Wednesday/12 February. When commuting to work in the morning, all personnel should proceed with caution/leave extra time, as there may still be some likelihood of "black ice" on roadways.
