Two Abilene Men Face Federal Charges for Sex Tape with 12-Year-Old

ABILENE, TX- On Nov. 16, two Abilene men were indicted by a federal grand jury. These two men face federal and local charges after police say they had sex with a 12-year-old girl and video taped it.

Terrell Orlando Kinchen, 21, and Troy Lee Applin, Jr., 20, are being charged with aggravated sexual assault of a child. KTXS reported that these two men face federal charges of sexual exploitation of a child and aiding and abetting.

According to the arrest affidavit, Abilene Police and Homeland Security began investigating the case after receiving a tip from Child Protective Services.

After speaking to a special agent with Homeland Security, the victim told them that she met Kinchen at an apartment on Old Anson Rd. in May.

The victim stated that she performed oral sex on Kinchen while Applin filmed it. The victim also disclosed that she performed oral sex on Applin as well.

KTXS said, “Police found images of the victim on a cell phone having oral sex with a black male with tattoos on his arms and chest. They used the tattoos to identify Kinchen.”

During questioning, Kinchen did confess to having oral sex with the 12-year-old, as said in the affidavit. He also admitted to police that Applin filmed the act.

Both suspects are being held in the Taylor County jail on bonds that total more than $100,000.
