DPS Promotes Texas Ranger to Lieutenant

ABILENE, TX- A press release from the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) announced today that Scott Stevenson has been promoted to Lieutenant with the Texas Rangers.

Beginning Jan. 1, 2017, Stevenson will serve as Lieutenant in Corpus Christi. Stevenson has previously served as a Sergeant with the Texas Rangers in Lubbock.

From his hometown in Abilene, Stevenson joined DPS in 1996.
