Juvenile Attempts to Steal $200 in Pokémon Cards from Walmart

 

SAN ANGELO, TX – Since our last update, local law enforcement arrested and booked 21 people into the Tom Green County Jail, including a 12-year-old juvenile and 28-year-old Andre Antu.

San Angelo Police Officer Tracy Gonzalez said, at around 5:15 p.m. yesterday, police arrested a 12-year-old juvenile for Theft Class B after they were dispatched to the Walmart Supercenter at 610 W.  29th St.

“The juvenile attempted to steal approximately $200 in Pokémon cards,” said Gonzalez.

In an early morning incident today, SAPD officers arrested Antu for an Accident Involving Injury and Fail to Stop and Render Aid.

Officer Gonzalez said this occurred at 4:47 a.m., but no further information is available at this time.

According to jail records, Antu was booked at 5:23 a.m. into the TGCJ. This is his 8th arrest in the county. His bonds total $8,108 for this arrest.

Overall, including these two arrestees, and out of the 21 people booked into the TGCJ, 11 people were arrested for new crimes; five people had both new complaints and outstanding warrants; and five people had outstanding warrants only.

  • Assault by Contact—Family Violence: 1
  • Unlawful Carrying of Weapon: 1
  • DWI: 1
