Update 4 p.m.

Lt. Jason Huebner, with Texas Parks & Wildlife Game Wardens Law Enforcement in San Angelo, said, at around 10:43 a.m., his office dispatched to the O.C. Fisher Reservoir for the report of a capsized boat involving three individuals.

"Initially, they forgot to put the plug into the boat, so they came to shore, put the plug back in, but I don't believe all the water was out at the time," said Lt. Huebner. "Somehow more water got into the boat, causing the boat to capsize. I think it was still leaking at that point and wasn't tight enough. I think it was water up in the bow that caused it to capsize."

The individuals told them they were in the water for about 30 minutes; however, initial reports said it was about an hour. They said the boat belonged to a friend, so they were trying to get it to shore.

Lt. Huebner said Texas Parks & Wildlife Wardens, State Park Rangers, San Angelo Fire and EMTs, and the San Angelo Fire Department responded to the scene.

Luckily, the three individuals suffered no injuries. Lt. Huebner noted that, if this incident had occurred a few days later with the predicted cold front, the outcome could have been quite different.
