Town Hall Meeting to Address Santa Rita Neighborhood Security

SAN ANGELO, TX - On Monday, Nov. 21, at 6 p.m., District City Councilman Lane Carter will host a town hall meeting to address neighborhood security and crime watch programs.

Councilman Carter organized the gathering after a recent influx of burglaries and breakins in the Santa Rita neighborhood. The town hall event will take place in the cafeteria at Santa Rita Elementary School, located at 615 S. Madison St.

City officials said the public is invited to attend, and San Angelo Police Chief Frank Carter and Operations Director Shane Kelton will be at the event to talk about neighborhood security. They will also discuss the City's efforts to ensure the public's safety, to offer tips on how homeowners can protect themselves and to answer questions residents may have.
