SAPD Investigates Robbery with a Stolen Vehicle

 

SAN ANGELO, TX - This afternoon, San Angelo Police are investigating a possible robbery and a stolen vehicle.

At 1:28 p.m., SAPD were dispatched to the 2200 block of Abilene in regards to the crime. When officers arrived, they met with two victims.

"At this time, the Criminal Investigation Division is investigating it, and the investigation is ongoing," said Sgt. Thomason with SAPD Street Crimes Division.

Thomason said there are also two suspects associated with the incident. One of the victim's vehicles was stolen, and initially, officials suspected there was someone armed inside the house, but that turned out to be incorrect.

No one has been arrested at this time. Sgt. Thomason said more information will be released when available.

He added that Patrol Division, Criminal Investigation Division and Street Crimes Division were on scene.
