SAPD Searching for Driver Who Injured Four People in Crash

SAN ANGELO, TX - The San Angelo Police Department is asking for the public's help to locate a hit-and-run driver that sent four people to the hospital Friday evening.

Public Information Officer Tracy Gonzalez said, at approximately 7 p.m. on October 29, a beige 1999 Mercury Grand Marquis was traveling westbound in the 100 block of Paint Rock Road near Christoval Road when it was struck by a small, blue passenger car. The force of the collision caused the Marquis to leave the roadway and collide with a telephone pole. The suspect vehicle left the scene.

The Marquis was occupied by four people who went to Shannon Medical Center for treatment of non-incapacitating injuries.

If you have any information about the owner/operator of a small blue passenger car that sustained front-end damage Friday, please contact the Department’s Hit & Run Investigator, Steven Quade, at (325) 657-4253. To remain anonymous, tip online at http://bit.ly/SAPDTips24, via text: text TIP SAPD to 888777 and follow the prompts, or by phone at 1-855-TIPS-247.
