AUSTIN, TX – The Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) recently added Albert Isaiah Christopher, 39, to the Texas 10 Most Wanted Sex Offenders list. A cash reward of up to $3,000 is now being offered to anyone who can provide any information leading to his capture. Tips are guaranteed to be handled confidentially. Christopher is wanted for failure to comply with sex offender registration requirements and for probation violation.
According to a DPS press release, in November 2011, Christopher was convicted of two counts of aggravated sexual assault of a child after incidents in Dallas County involving two girls, ages 10 and 12. Subsequently, Christopher was sentenced to seven years of probation. He has been wanted since 2014. Christopher is 6 feet tall and weighs approximately 220 pounds. He was last known to frequent the Dallas-area homeless shelters in 2013. Christopher has connections in the Dallas and New Orleans area. Texas Crime Stoppers, funded by the Governor’s Criminal Justice Division, offers cash reward to any person who provides information that leads to the arrest of one of the Texas 10 Most Wanted fugitives or sex offenders.
In order to be eligible for the cash award, tipsters must provide information using one of the following five methods:
- Call the Crime Stoppers hotline at 1-800-252-TIPS (8477).
- Text the letters “DPS” – followed by your tip – to 274637 (CRIMES) from your cell phone.
- Submit a web tip through the DPS website by selecting the fugitive you have information about, and then clicking on the link under their picture.
- Submit a Facebook tip at http://www.facebook.com/
texas10mostwanted by clicking the “SUBMIT A TIP” link (under the “About” section). - Submit a tip through the DPS Mobile App. The app is currently available for iPhone users on the Apple App Store: https://itunes.apple.com/us/

DPS noted that all tips are anonymous, regardless of the method of submission chosen. Tipsters will be provided with a tip number instead of having to use their name.
DPS investigators work with local law enforcement to select fugitives for the Texas 10 Most Wanted Fugitives and Sex Offender list. The current list, with photos, can be found on the DPS website.
Law enforcement authorities warn the public to not attempt to apprehend these fugitives, for they are considered armed and dangerous.
