San Angelo Driver Fails to See School Bus Unloading and Slams into Stopped Traffic

 

There was an accident with injuries at the 4700 block of Southwest Blvd. near Southland Dr. at approximately 3 p.m. this afternoon.

A school bus in the outside lane of Southwest was stopped to unload children after school. A white GMC Denali was stopped for the school bus when a gray Ford Mustang went around on the outside lane and struck the Denali. The driver of the Mustang was sent by ambulance to Shannon Medical Center.

The female Mustang driver will be cited for failure to control speed.
