Health Department Moves Shot Clinics to Oct. 21 & 28

SAN ANGELO, TX - City officials announced that the weekly shot clinics on the next two Tuesdays, Oct. 18 and Oct. 25, at the San Angelo -Tom Green County Health Department will instead be on the following Fridays: Oct. 21 and Oct. 28.

According to a press release, Health Department staff will be shorthanded those weeks because one member will attend training, which will leave only one nurse to man the office.

The shot clinics will be conducted from 8 a.m.-11:30 a.m. and from 1 p.m.-4:30 p.m. on each of the Fridays. Walk-ins are welcome. The Health Department is in Suite 8 at 2030 Pulliam St.

"The Texas Vaccines for Children program gives free vaccines to health care providers to immunize uninsured and underinsured children from birth to 18 years of age," said the release.

The Health Department is open 8 a.m.-noon and 1 p.m.-5 p.m. Mondays through Fridays.
