Traffic Stop in Nolan County Leads to Meth and Paraphernalia Arrest

 

On Tuesday, September 27, 2016, at approximately 12:30 a.m., a Nolan County deputy stopped a black sedan in the 1300 block of East 12th Street for several minor traffic infractions.

Contact was made with the driver, George Burrows, of Sweetwater.

During a roadside investigation, the deputy detected indicators of criminal activity that lead to the arrest of Burrows and the discovery of suspected methamphetamine and paraphernalia.

Mr. Burrows was transported to the Nolan County jail where he was charged with a misdemeanor offense that will be filed with the County Attorney’s Office and the felony offense of Manufacture or Delivery that will be filed with the 32nd Judicial District Attorney’s Office for prosecution.
