Grand Opening of Neighbors Emergency Center Sept. 24

 

San Angelo, TX –  This upcoming Saturday will be the grand opening if of the local Neighbors Emergency Center. The day will feature several activities for both kids and adults.

The Neighbors Emergency Center provides healthcare services 24 hours a day for the people of San Angelo. The center has been open since August 27th, but this provides the public an opportunity to learn about the center and the services they offer.

The event will begin Sept. 24 at 11 a.m. with the ribbon cutting presented by the Chamber of Commerce along with several giveaways and activities for all ages. First 100 guests will receive a complimentary tumbler and a chance to win a $100 gift card. Contestants must be present to win.

Kids will have the opportunity to enjoy the High Jump Bounce house, see a San Angelo Fire Department truck up close and meet the handlers of the K-9 Unit. Face painting, balloon animals, and photography by Rex Enchos Photography will also be the available at the event.

Attendees will also have the opportunity to meet the Neighbors Mascot, Scrubs the Bear, as well as H-E-BUDDY. Refreshments will be provided by the Snow Shack and Shennanigan's Bar & Grill Restaurant.
