SAN ANGELO, TX – On the morning of Sept. 16, San Angelo LIVE! reported on a 28-year-old man, Michael Darwin Chappell, wanted by the Tom Green County Sheriff’s Office for unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.
On the same day, at 11:04 a.m., Chappell was booked into the Tom Green County Jail for the outstanding arrest warrant. Currently, we are waiting to hear from TGCSO officials if someone gave information on the whereabouts of Chappell, or if he turned himself in. We will provide an update when available.
Chappell’s bond is set at $7,500.
Including Chappell, 44 people were arrested over the weekend. Out of those arrests, 21 people had both new crimes and outstanding warrants, 15 people had outstanding warrants, and nine people had both new complaints and outstanding warrants.

- No Driver’s License: 1
- ICE Hold: 1
- Assault Class C: 1
- Burglary of Building: 1
- Resisting Arrest: 1
- Assault Public Service: 1
