A four-vehicle pileup in the 1200 block of South Abe resulted in injuries and citations this afternoon.
After 4 p.m. this afternoon, San Angelo Police Officer Brian Bylsma said he was dispatched to a major crash in the area.
He said there were four vehicles involved in the crash. A female driver of a Cadillac stopped after the driver in front of her stopped for an unknown reason; however, when she stopped, a Ford F-150 hit her from behind.
Bylsma said the driver of a Ford F-350 shoved all the vehicles into one another, including the driver of a Chevy Camaro.
There were three passengers in the Cadillac, but no injuries. There were two occupants in the Ford, and one complained of injuries, but he told officials he will go on his own to an area hospital.
The driver of a Chevy Camaro was transported to one of the local hospitals, Bylsma added.
Bylsma said the driver of the Cadillac will receive a citation for no insurance. The driver of the Camaro will receive a citation for an invalid license and possibly failure to control speed (depending on investigation); and the driver of the F-350 will receive a citation for failure to control speed.
