SAPD Arrest Two Men for Possession of Crack Cocaine and Other Drugs

Yesterday, officers from the San Angelo Police Department’s Street Crimes Division, K9 Unit, and the Texas Department of Public Safety’s Criminal Investigations Division executed a Search Warrant at a residence in the 100 block of W. 12th Street.

Officer Tracy Gonzalez, public information officer for SAPD, said the warrant, issued by Justice of the Peace J.P. McGuire, named 54-year-old Samuel Davis to be in possession of crack cocaine.

"During the search, investigators located a misdemeanor amount of marijuana, drug paraphernalia, items consistent with the manufacture of crack cocaine, and crack cocaine," said Gonzalez.

Gonzalez added that three adults, including Davis, were detained during the search.

"At the conclusion of the operation, Davis and 66-year-old Ricky Don Clark were charged with First Degree Felony Manufacture Delivery of a Controlled Substance Penalty Group 1 and transported to the Tom Green County Jail," stated Gonzalez.

This is an ongoing investigation and no other information is available for release.
