San Angelo Police and San Angelo Crime Stoppers need the public's help in identifying a suspect or suspects whom caused damage to the memorial, said a press release today.
Over the July Fourth weekend, the Vietnam Veterans Memorial, located in the 8600 block of Knickerbocker Rd., was vandalized.
An unknown suspect(s) spilled grease on the concrete and concrete pavers of the memorial. The estimated damage of the memorial is between $5,000 - $8,000.
If anyone has information about this crime, please contact San Angelo Crime Stoppers. The first person to provide information that leads to the arrest of the suspect(s) could be eligible for a reward up to $1,000.
"Citizens have come together to add an additional amount to the reward given by Crime Stoppers," said the release.
