Christopher Barbontin Soloya, Jr.,30, has earned his place on the Most Wanted Sex Offenders List. Reward for information that leads to his arrest has increased to $3,000.
According to DPS, Soloya is 5 feet 6 inches tall and weighs approximately 195 pounds.
Soloya has known ties to the Houston area and is currently wanted for violating his parole and failure in complying as a sex offender. Solaya was arrested in 2007 for burglarizing the apartment of his victim whom he intended to sexually assault. He was convicted with Burglary of Habitation with Intent to Commit Other Felony. After serving time in prison, he was paroled in March of 2015 and required to register as a sex offender for life.
Solaya is a member of the Tango Blast Houston gang and has ties in the Houston area, specifically in Pasadena. He has several known aliases including:
- Cacheton,
- Lil-Chris,
- Lil-Shorty,
- Christopher Barbarteen Soloya,
- Christopher Barbont Soloya,
- Christopher Barbonti
He also has several tattoos that serve as identifying markers, including:
- “Chris" on back of neck
- marijuana plant on left side of chest;
- 2 skulls, a rose, and the number 713 on upper left arm;
- "Texas" on left forearm;
- the number 713 shaped as a star on left hand;
- "Pasadena" on right forearm.
To be eligible for the cash rewards, tipsters must provide information to authorities using one of the five following methods:
- Call the Crime Stoppers hotline at 1-800-252-TIPS (8477).
- Text the letters DPS – followed by your tip – to 274637 (CRIMES) from your cell phone.
- Submit a web tip through the DPS website by selecting the fugitive you have information about, and then clicking on the link under their picture.
- Submit a Facebook tip at http://www.facebook.com/texas10mostwanted by clicking the “SUBMIT A TIP” link (under the “About” section).
- Submit a tip through the DPS Mobile App.
All tips are anonymous – regardless of how they are submitted, and tipsters will be provided a tip number instead of using a name.
Do not attempt to apprehend these fugitives; they are considered armed and dangerous.
