Sitel, a leading global customer care provider, will be hosting job fairs that will create over 225 new jobs in the San Angelo area. The company is offering 100 new permanent roles and 125 seasonal opportunities.
Every Tuesday, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., now until the end of June, the job fair will be open to the public on-site at the Sitel building, 2702 W. Loop 306. Candidates can also apply online at the Careers tab, or www.sitel.com.
Sitel is a leading employer in San Angelo, and the job opportunities up for grabs are for a major satellite provider that needs customer service representatives. The new customer care agents will handle inbound support for a leading telecommunications provider.
“We really look for people who are motivated, honest, hardworking, and dependable” said Susan Spencer, Site Director for San Angelo Sitel, about the type of candidates Sitel is looking for.
During the summer months, Sitel trains its student employees for the position that is fitting for them. Sitel is very flexible with college student’s hours, said Spencer, and will create flexible work schedules that coordinate with student lifestyles. A three-week training session is provided by the company to ensure that the employees understand and will shine in their career.
Spence also said, “Every day, I see Sitel agents helping customers and making a difference. And I see these hard-working agents rise to new levels with promotions. If you’re passionate about helping others, and want to join our team delivering world-class experiences for some of the world’s best-known brands, I’d love to meet you at one of our upcoming jobs fairs.”
With an established history of promoting team members through the ranks to management positions, Sitel offers ongoing professional development. More than 80 percent of Sitel managers started in agent roles.
Spencer said, “You can start off as an associate and then build upon your career.”
Spence said Sitel provides a competitive compensation and benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, 401K, paid vacation and holiday time. Lucrative bonus and incentive opportunities are also available.
Spencer added, “We really try to increase our name in the community. We let people know that we are a people first community, and put our employees first and make sure that they are enjoying their job.”
