Howard College will have 250 students walk the stage at graduation for the class of 2016 on Saturday, May 14, during a commencement ceremony at the Foster Communications Coliseum. Graduates will receive their diplomas at the 10 a.m. ceremony.
Speakers for the ceremony will be Austin Mathis, Attorney at Law with Webb, Stokes and Sparks. Mr. Mathis also serves as a member of the Howard College San Angelo Foundation Board.
Diplomas will be presented for the following degrees: Associate of Arts in Teaching, Associate of Science, and Associate of Applied Science in Business, Computer and Information Sciences, Criminal Justice, Radiologic Technology, and Respiratory Care.
Certificates will be presented in Business, Computer and Information Sciences, Cosmetology, Criminal Justice, Emergency Medical Technician-Paramedic, Industrial Production Technology-Residential Heating Ventilation Air Conditioning, Medical Assistant, Surgical Technology, and Vocational Nursing. Two honorary degrees will also be presented.
