Citizens Encouraged to Support Injured SAPD Sergeant

The San Angelo Police Department is asking for citizen support of injured Sgt. Fred Dietz, who was badly injured in a crash on April 6.

At 7:50 a.m. on that day, Sgt. Dietz was driving westbound on Humble Rd., in the northern part of San Angelo, when he pulled out onto U.S. 87 to turn south and was hit by a northbound utility truck.

At present, Sgt. Dietz is in a Trauma Unit at a Dallas hospital and will return to San Angelo soon. Concho Valley Citizens Care staff would like to send Sgt. Dietz “Get Well” and “Speedy Recover” cards and letters when he returns to San Angelo, so citizens are encouraged to join in the process.

If you would like to participate by providing cards and/or letters of support and prayer, you may call or text Melissa Flores at (325)450-5711, Candace Francis at (325)315-3638, or Pam Robinson at (325)895-5167.
