The Angelo State University Small Business Development Center announced that it will host a training event for “Understanding Financial Statements" on Wednesday, March 9.
The session will start at 3:00 p.m. with a $20 fee for admission. The event will address financial statements and how they affect the well-being of a business.
This event also looks at how to understand financial statements to determine changes in a company for the benefit of profit and overall success.
Attendees will learn how to read basic financial statements with varying formats. That includes balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. They will also learn to use analysis tools such as break-even points and ratio analysis to learn more about their business.
Mr. David A. Erickson, MBA, Director of Small Business Development Center, will be the speaker at the event. He is a Certified Business Advisor.
Staff encourages advance registration so adequate seating and handouts can be provided for everyone.
