Early voting is well underway at the Election Office, located in the Edd B. Keyes building on the 1st floor. Voting officials wanted to remind everyone that voting will be conducted on the weekend, and tomorrow, Feb. 19, is also the deadline for ballot by mail applications. Early voting will end Friday, Feb. 26.
For people who wish to vote this weekend, they can do so Saturday from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Sunday, 12:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Also, ballot by mail applications must be in the office by tomorrow, and must be received via fax, scan, email, or by mail. Voters cannot deliver mail ballots in person. Blank forms are available here.
Officials also wanted to remind voters they are eligible to vote a limited ballot during early voting. To qualify for a limited ballot, voters must be registered in the state, not meet the deadline to register in the new county of residence, and must be voting in the county of the new residence.
