$7,500 Reward Offered for Most Wanted Fugitive from Houston

The Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) has added Gilberto Ruvalcaba, 29, to the Texas 10 Most Wanted Fugitives list, and a cash reward up to $7,500 is now being offered for information leading to his capture. Ruvalcaba, who is a Sureño 13 gang member, is wanted for parole violation.

Ruvalcaba’s last known address was in Houston, and he has ties to the cities of El Paso and Anthony, N.M. In 2011, Ruvalcaba was convicted in El Paso County of aggravated robbery with a deadly weapon and received a nine-year prison sentence. Additionally, in 2015, Crime Stoppers of Houston added Ruvalcaba to its list of most wanted gang members.

For more information or updates in the event of his arrest, see his wanted bulletin at: http://dps.texas.gov/Texas10MostWanted/fugitiveDetails.aspx?id=317

Ruvalcaba is 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighs approximately 190 pounds. He has numerous tattoos covering his neck, chest, abdomen, back and both arms. He may also be known as “Krusty,” or spell his last name as “Rubalcava.”

Texas Crime Stoppers, which is funded by the Governor’s Criminal Justice Division, offers cash rewards to any person who provides information that leads to the arrest of one of the Texas 10 Most Wanted fugitives or sex offenders.

DPS officials request people to not attempt to apprehend these fugitives, for they are considered armed and dangerous.
