Two drivers of Chevy Impalas collided on 30th and Chadbourne Streets this afternoon as a result of one driver failing to yield the right of way, said Officer Brian Bylsma with the San Angelo Police Department’s Traffic Division.
Officer Bylsma said he was dispatched to a major motor vehicle accident with injuries at that location at approximately 2:40 p.m. He said when officers got to the scene, they found two Chevy Impalas, one silver and one blue, had collided. The female of the silver Chevy said she pulled up on 30th St. and stopped to turn north onto Chadbourne. She claimed she didn’t see the other driver. The driver of the blue Chevy Impala said he was traveling northbound on Chadbourne in the right lane. He saw the Chevy pull up to the stop sign, and said the driver looked right at him, but continued to pull out and hit him.
Bylsma said the driver of the silver Chevy Impala was transported to Shannon Medical Center due to back pain complaints. She is going to receive a citation for failing to yield the right of way at a stop sign. The driver of the blue Chevy Impala will also receive a citation for no insurance. He was an excluded driver on the policy.
Both vehicles received minor damage.

First of all.... Major accident?? The article states major accident, then at the end,,, minor damage. Second of all, the driver of the silver Impala DID NOT STOP!!! She came up to the stop sign, looked our way and never slowed down. Third, as far as the insurance ticket goes, it's a clerical error and will be dismissed.
