Sheriff Invites Public to Claim Recovered Stolen Property

The Tom Green County Sheriff’s Office will conduct a public viewing of recently recovered stolen property on Feb. 2, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Tom Green County 4-H building located at 3168 U.S. 67.

The items were recovered from burglaries and thefts that occurred in the City of San Angelo and Tom Green County.  "Our goal is to return as many of these stolen items as possible to their rightful owner," said Tom Green County Sheriff David Jones.

If you are claiming an item the Sheriff’s Office will require you to provide proof of ownership.  Proof of ownership may be shown through various forms, for example: Case reports, personal identification numbers, and proof of purchase that includes serial numbers.
