Angelo State University will present an exhibit of contemporary paintings by Derrick White and ceramics by David Funk, said a press release Thursday. Both men are art professors at Tyler Junior College, and the exhibit will open Tuesday, Jan. 19, in the Carr Education-Fine Arts (EFA) Building, 2602 Dena Drive.

The exhibit, titled “Communique,” will be housed in the EFA Building’s Gallery 193 and will be open for public viewing from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays through Friday, Feb. 12. On, Feb. 11, the artists will make a presentation at 3:30 p.m. in Room 101 of the EFA Building. Both the exhibit and lecture are free and open to the public.
