The Texas Attorney General’s Office filed a friend-of-the-court brief with the U.S. Supreme Court on behalf of 20 states supporting the right of religious nonprofits to exercise religious beliefs, said a press release Monday. The amicus filed in Zubik v. Burwell results from a consolidation of several cases before the Court, two of which Texas had previously filed briefs in. Texas argues that the Obamacare contraceptive mandate infringes upon the right of religious nonprofits to exercise their sincerely-held beliefs.
“The principles of our nation, not to mention federal law, provides that the government must respect the closely-held religious beliefs of its citizens,” said Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton. “These nonprofits, driven by faith and sincere convictions, serve our communities in important ways – from education to health care to caring for the elderly. It’s paramount that that they continue their contributions to society, and Texas will continue to fight any impediments imposed upon these organizations by the Obama Administration.”
Attorney General Paxton filed amicus briefs on behalf of 20 states in Little Sisters of the Poor v. Burwell on Aug. 24, 2015, and in Houston Baptist University v. Burwell on Aug. 10, 2015, along with 15 other states. Texas was joined in Monday's amicus brief by: Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Kansas, Michigan, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, Ohio, Oklahoma, South Carolina, South Dakota, Utah, West Virginia and Wisconsin.

need i say more...............keepin us behind, backwards, yallqaeda#d ta death.............somebody go woop me up sum biskets and gravy while i vote a single mom's kids benefits cut that I made her have--even though I kept her on a treadmill of poverty by letting her take on enormous student debt at inflated, making healthcare and college insanely costly, all the while as i and other shareholders of various american corporations vote to ship her potential jobs off, as she tried to be independent and provide for herself and family upon graduation. Is she going to be crucified if she can't tithe while she is queing up for an empty church food bank, or will Crefloe Peso provide all the comforts of joy for her on his learjet?

PermalinkI guess Texas women are dumber than i thought . According to the morlocks " in the kitchen bare foot and pregnant " is the new norm . Women can clean out their closets now , no need for all those clothes . All they need now is the traditional Muslim garb . No need for makeup or any of that stuff , just be ready for your master to abuse you as he sees fit . No more need for domestic abuse units in the police department . We will need a new morals unit.
