According to the release, Dominguez, a Barrio Azteca gang member has an extensive criminal past and is wanted for failure to register as a sex offender and parole violation.

Dominguez is believed to be a transient, and he has lived in El Paso and Socorro, Texas, Las Cruces, New Mexico, and Modesto, California. His criminal history includes indecency with a child, assault causing bodily injury and burglary.

The release stated Dominguez was previously featured by the U.S. Marshals Service during Operation Guardian, a national initiative that targeted the country’s most dangerous noncompliant sex offenders. For more information or updates in the event of his arrest, please see Dominguez’s wanted bulletin by clicking here.

Dominguez is described as being 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighs approximately 225 pounds. He also goes by several aliases, and has numerous tattoos on his arms, left wrist and neck.

DPS stated that one offender from the Texas 10 Most Wanted Program is featured each month in hopes the higher reward money from the Governor’s Criminal Justice Division will generate additional tips. The higher reward amount, however, will only be paid if the tip comes in the same month the fugitive is featured. Keep in mind that all calls, texts, emails and Facebook tip messages are anonymous.

To be eligible for cash rewards, there are five different ways to provide anonymous tips

  1. Call the Crime Stoppers hotline at 1-800-252-TIPS (8477).
  2. Text the letters DPS, followed by the tip, to 274637 (CRIMES) from a cell phone.
  3. Submit a web tip through the DPS website by selecting the fugitive you have information about, and then clicking on the link under his or her picture.
  4. Submit a Facebook tip at http://www.facebook.com/texas10mostwanted by clicking the “SUBMIT A TIP” link (under the “About” section).
  5. Submit a tip through the DPS Mobile App. The app is currently available for iPhone users at the Apple App Store, https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/texas-dps/id902092368?mt=8, and for Android users on Google Play at https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.microassist.texasdps&hl=en.

DPS investigators work with local law enforcement agencies to select fugitives for the Texas 10 Most Wanted Fugitive and Sex Offender Lists. To find the current lists, with photos, on the DPS website, visit http://www.dps.texas.gov/texas10mostwanted/.

DPS officials ask citizens not to attempt to apprehend these fugitives for they are considered armed and dangerous.
