Last week, the Tom Green County Sheriff’s Office received information from the San Angelo Police Department about possible stolen property the agency recovered. An investigation between TGCSO’s Office Criminal Investigation Division and SAPD confirmed the property recovered was stolen in an unreported burglary of a residence in Tom Green County, said a press release Monday.
According to the release, on Friday, Nov. 20, TGCSO and SAPD conducted an evidentiary search warrant in the 2400 block of San Antonio St. in San Angelo. The search warrant resulted in the recovery of additional stolen items, firearms and narcotics.
The suspects in the case include the following:
- Jonathan Daniel Lujan, 27, of San Angelo: charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance PG 1 greater than -1 gram, but less than 4 grams in a Drug Free Zone, which is a 2nd Degree Felony.
- Joann Gonzales Martinez, 34, of San Angelo: charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance PG 1 greater than -1 gram, but less than 4 grams in a Drug Free Zone, which is a 2nd degree felony; Unlawful Possession of a Firearm by a Felon, a 3rd degree felony; Possession of Marijuana less than 2 oz., which is a Class B misdemeanor.
- Nicholas Gamboa, 27, of San Angelo: arrested on three city warrants.
TGCSO officials stated this investigation remains ongoing and additional charges are expected to be filed.
