Angelo State University's Center for Community Engagement (CCE) will host its fourth annual CONNECT! Student Showcase, said a press release Tuesday. The showcase, which will take place on Nov. 23, will be held in the Houston Harte University Center at 1910 Rosemont Drive.
From 2 to 4 p.m., the students' presentations about community service, internships, campaigns, and more will be displayed in the C.J. Davidson Conference Center. The event is free and open to the public.
Dr. Doyle Carte, CCE director, stated, "The showcase is an opportunity to celebrate the many things that students learn as they connect with and serve the local community and communities around the world. The students that participate in CONNECT! and other community-based learning initiatives are having a local and global impact."
This showcase is a component of the CONNECT! Campus and Community program, which is led by Carter. It is the centerpiece of ASU's efforts to enhance the educational experience for students through hands-on practices.
