Texas DPS Offers Cash Reward for Tips Leading to the Capture of Fugitive

Markeith McWright, 32, has been added to the Texas 10 Most Wanted Fugitives list by the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS), said a press release Monday. A cash reward of $7,500 is being offered for any tips leading to his capture. The Crips gang member, who has a violent history, is currently wanted for parole and probation violations. According to the press release, all tips are guaranteed to be anonymous.

McWright has ties to the Dallas, Mesquite, and Balch Springs areas. Aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, robbery, and possession of a controlled substance are all included in his criminal history. There are five different ways to submit an anonymous tip and be eligible for the cash reward:

Call the Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-252-TIPS (8477).
Text the letters DPS followed by your tip to 274637 (CRIMES) from your cell phone.
Submit a web tip through the DPS website by selecting the fugitive you have information about, and then clicking on the link under their picture.
Submit a Facebook tip at http://www.facebook.com/texas10most… by clicking the "SUBMIT TIP" link (under the "About" section).
Submit a tip through the DPS mobile app.
