Wichita Falls Teacher Killed in Crash on Christmas Day

 

WICHITA FALLS, TX — A Wichita Falls teacher died after he was struck by a vehicle while walking Thursday, Dec. 25.

Brad Boddy, 69, was crossing a road in the 6700 block of Southwest Parkway when he was hit by a vehicle at about 6:15 p.m. 

The driver said they didn’t see Boddy walking in the road.

Boddy was transported to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Boddy was a special education teacher at Memorial High School in Wichita Falls. 

"Mr. Boddy was a dedicated educator who cared deeply for his students and colleagues, and his impact will be felt across the Memorial High School community and our district," Wichita Falls ISD stated in a Facebook post.
