SAN ANGELO, TX — The Central Bobcats opened up the 15th annual Doug McCutchen Basketball Tournament with a 74-54 win over Plainview on Thursday, Dec. 4.
Coach Arsenior Geter gave his thoughts on his team's performance after the game. Watch that interview below:
Despite a slow start to the first half, the Bobcats played solid defense throughout to build a solid lead. Central exploded with a 28-point 3rd quarter to put the game to bed and down Plainview, 74-54.
"Once we settled into the game and did what we do, it ended up good for us," Coach Geter said after the game.
Central's TK Taylor led the Bobcats in scoring with 20 points, followed by Ean McNeil with 13 points.

The most impressive showing was Central's full-court defense. The Bobcats forced several turnovers that led to quick baskets in the 3rd quarter that helped Central put the game away.
"It's something we say every game," Geter continued. "The first two minutes of the half need to be ours. We win the 3rd quarter, and we put ourselves in position to win the game."
The Bobcats have one more game on Thursday. Central squares off with San Antonio Taft at Central High School at 4:30 p.m.
