San Angelo Police Search for Leads in Aggravated Robbery at Local Gentlemen’s Club

San Angelo Police Department investigators are asking for the public’s assistance in locating two men who robbed and assaulted a man outside a local gentleman’s club last night, said Tracy Gonzalez, public information officer for SAPD.

Gonzalez stated that police were dispatched to Desiree’s Preferred Gentlemen’s Club at 330 W. Washington Dr. around 2:15 a.m. for the report of a robbery in progress. When they arrived, officers met with an 18-year-old San Angelo man who told them he was inside his vehicle waiting to give someone a ride when two men opened his passenger door and demanded money from him at gunpoint. The victim also said one of the suspects grabbed his cell phone, told him not to call police, and hit him in the head with a gun after the victim told the men he didn’t have any money. The suspects then fled from the victim’s vehicle in an unknown direction.

The victim suffered minor injury from the assault, but he refused medical treatment at the scene.

At this time, SAPD is asking the public’s help with this case. Both suspects were described as Hispanic males in their early to mid-twenties, and they wore white T-shirts with yellow bandanas covering their faces during the robbery. If anyone has information about this incident or the suspects’ whereabouts, please contact Detective Jason Chegwidden at (325) 659-8019.
