SAISD Board to Vote on Performance Goals, Property Sale, and Financial Rating

 

SAN ANGELO, TX — The San Angelo ISD Board of Trustees is scheduled to meet Monday, Nov. 17, at 5:45 p.m. for a regular board meeting at the district administration building, 1621 University Ave. 

The agenda lists four recognitions: Central High School student athletes, SAISD employee veterans and the Goodfellow Air Force Base partnership, Texas Trust Credit Union and the Texas Trust Gives Foundation, and the Junior League of San Angelo.

Trustees will hear public comments before conducting a Finance and Audit Committee workshop. Items listed under the finance report include bills and accounts, monthly investment reports, and the September 2025 tax collection report. A purchasing report listing purchase orders over $20,000 will also be reviewed.

Information items include a bond construction update, an academic program update, and facilities planning.

Consent items include donation approvals, minutes from the Oct. 6 and Oct. 21 meetings, and review of library book purchases.

Action items listed include consideration of financial statements, the district’s multi-hazard emergency operations plan, 2025–26 performance objectives, an interlocal transportation agreement, and the district’s financial integrity rating. Trustees will also consider candidates for the Tom Green County Appraisal District Board of Directors, the sale of district property, a maintenance and supplies contract, and appointments to the MHMR Services of the Concho Valley board.

The meeting will also include announcements regarding a Finance/Pre-Agenda workshop set for Dec. 8 and the next regular board meeting on Dec. 15 before adjourning.
