SAN ANGELO, TX – Goodfellow Air Force Base hosts the 43rd annual Santa’s Market and 3rd annual Open House event on Saturday, November 22, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The event will take place in the Fire Academy High Bay. It is open to the public. Non-ID cardholders will need to enter through Goodfellow’s Crash Gate, just beyond the South Gate on S. Chadbourne St.
An estimated 3,100 people attended last year’s Santa’s Market. Santa’s Market will have over 70 merchants from the local area and across the state, offering handcrafted goods and artisanal food creations. Santa Claus is scheduled to make an appearance. Families can take free pictures with Santa.
The Open House will offer a variety of demos from members of the Louis F. Garland Department of Defense Fire Academy, Base Honor Guard and the 17th Security Forces Squadron military working dog team.
