Marijuana Possession Leads Tuesday Jail Bookings

Seven women and 10 men joined the Tom Green County Jail's population on Tuesday; three of those women and five of those men had warrants out for their arrest.  

Some were jailed on a mix of warrants and new charges, while others were booked solely on complaints. The non-warrant offenses included four charged with pot possession, two each charged with DWI, assault and possession, and one person apiece charged with theft and evading arrest. 

Twenty-two inmates were released on Tuesday.
