SAN ANGELO, TX — Angelo State University head softball coach Travis Scott has announced the Rambelles' 2026 schedule, which features 25 home games at Mayer Softball Field.
The Belles open their campaign in Conroe at the DII First Pitch Invitational on Jan. 30-Feb. 1. There, they will face Southeastern Oklahoma, Simon Fraser, Mississippi College, Saint Martin's and Chadron State.
The following weekend, ASU opens its home schedule with the George and Ola McCorkle Challenge on Feb. 6-8. The same teams from last season's edition – Missouri Western, Ouachita Baptist and Texas A&M International – are back in San Angelo.
The Belles then travel to Florida for five games, where they will face Embry-Riddle on Feb. 13 before playing doubleheaders against Florida Tech and Rollins (Feb. 14-15).
Lone Star Conference play opens on the road against Midwestern State and Lubbock Christian the following weekend.
The Belles' home LSC schedule kicks off with eight games in a row, with doubleheaders against Texas A&M International (Feb. 27), Texas A&M-Kingsville (Mar. 1), defending national champion UT Tyler (Mar. 6) and Texas Woman's (Mar. 8).
Other notable dates for the Belles include: March 15 at Oklahoma Christian, March 20 versus UT Dallas, April 24 versus Lubbock Christian, April 26 versus Midwestern State (Senior Day) and May 3 at West Texas A&M.
The LSC Tournament will take place May 7-9 at the site of the regular-season champion. The NCAA Tournament begins May 14, with Super Regionals scheduled for the following week. The NCAA Championships will take place May 28-June 3 in Chattanooga, Tennessee.
Last season, the Belles went 47-14 overall and 34-10 in LSC play. They lost in the South Central regional final.
