SAN ANGELO, TX — A cold front moving through West Texas on Tuesday will bring a noticeable cool-down for San Angelo and the surrounding area, according to the National Weather Service.
Temperatures are expected to reach the mid-80s Monday before the front arrives, then fall into the low 70s Tuesday and mid-60s by Wednesday. Overnight lows will drop sharply, dipping into the lower 40s Tuesday night and near the mid-30s by Wednesday night.
Forecasters say the front will be accompanied by breezy winds, with gusts up to 25 mph Tuesday afternoon. Skies will remain mostly sunny throughout the week, with calmer conditions and a gradual warm-up toward the weekend.
By Friday, highs are expected to reach the mid-70s, with overnight lows returning to the low 40s.
