WATCH: Brick Wall Damaged in Major Crash in Residential Neighborhood

 

SAN ANGELO, TX — A two-vehicle crash tore down a brick wall in San Angelo in a Wednesday morning crash.

Around 9:30 a.m., a major crash was called at the intersection of Chestnut and Hatcher streets. On scene, a red Ford Fusion and a black Honda CR-V were both damaged in a crash, along with a brick wall at the intersection. The Honda had damage to the driver side, and the Ford has major front-end damage.

According to an officer with the San Angelo Police Department, the Honda was traveling west on Chestnut Street, and the Ford was driving north on Hatcher Street. The driver of the Ford failed to yield the right of way, and the vehicles collided in the intersection. The drivers of each vehicle were the only occupants.

The driver of the Honda was transported to the hospital with unknown injuries but was complaining of back pain from the crash.

Both vehicles were towed, and the driver of the Ford was issued a citation for failure to yield the right of way.
