STERLING CITY, TX — Congressman August Pfluger (TX-11) hosted a community town hall in Sterling City to share updates on his work in Washington, discuss the looming Democrat-led government shutdown, and take questions from those in attendance.
During the event, Congressman Pfluger also recognized Sterling County Sheriff Russell Irby and the entire Sterling County Sheriff's Office with a Congressional Certificate for their heroic recovery effort that saved the life of a missing 2-year-old child.
“Hosting town halls across Texas-11 will always be a priority of mine to better serve the amazing individuals who call this place home,” said Congressman August Pfluger. “As we work to win back our country in Washington, these town halls will continue to serve as excellent opportunities for me to provide firsthand updates and to hear your ideas, concerns, and feedback. Texas-11 is the best place to live and raise a family, and I am committed to protecting our values and way of life in Congress. If you are ever in need of assistance, please do not hesitate to reach out to my office.”
