Angelo State Men’s Basketball Earns Back-to-Back NABC Academic Excellence Award

 

KANSAS CITY, MO — The Angelo State men’s basketball team has been recognized with the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) Team Academic Excellence Award for the second consecutive year, the organization announced Wednesday.

The award honors collegiate programs that finish the academic year with a cumulative team GPA of 3.0 or higher. Angelo State met the criteria for the 2024-25 academic year, continuing its commitment to academic success.

"Education is one of the NABC's five core values, and we are proud to recognize the academic accomplishments of these programs and individual student-athletes across our sport," said NABC Executive Director Craig Robinson. "The dedication and hard work of these athletes, along with their coaches and support staff members who prioritize academic success, deserve to be widely celebrated."
