Man Performs Quick Body Work to Get Back on Road After Crash

SAN ANGELO, TX — A man wasted no time making repairs after his Cadillac was struck during a rain-soaked crash Wednesday on South Koenigheim Street, police said.

The two-vehicle crash happened near the intersection of Koenigheim Street and West Washington Drive at about 10:45 a.m. Officers said both vehicles were traveling northbound when the driver of a red car attempted to change lanes and collided with the front of the black Cadillac SUV.

No citations were issued, and no injuries were reported.

While the red vehicle had to be towed, the Cadillac’s driver performed just enough quick body work in a nearby parking lot to get back on the road and drive away from the scene.

Emergency crews temporarily blocked lanes while clearing debris, slowing traffic in the rain.
