Crash on Sherwood Way Forces Traffic to be Rerouted

SAN ANGELO, TX — A crash on Sherwood Way on Monday afternoon is forcing traffic to be rerouted.

The crash occurred at the intersection of Sherwood Way and Howard at about 3:10 p.m.

A white Cadillac and a grey pickup truck were left parked across both westbound lanes, which is causing police to redirect traffic through a parking lot and onto Pecos Street, which then merges with Sherwood Way.

According to a traffic officer with the San Angelo Police Department, the driver of the Cadillac was turning left from Howard onto Sherwood Way and failed to yield the right of way.

The driver of the truck was taken to the hospital, the officer stated.
