WATCH: Fireworks Explode on Lake Brownwood

BROWNWOOD, TX – The firework show on Lake Brownwood ended with an explosion and a fire on July 4.

According to KTXS, on July 4, firefighters with the Brownwood Fire Department were dispatched to McCartney Island after fireworks exploded and caught 1/3 acre of the grass on fire.

In one of the videos, you can see and hear a loud explosion before the fire.

It is still unclear how the fireworks exploded prematurely.

No one was injured during the fire.
