WATCH: The Salute From Del Rio

DEL RIO, TX -- With many organizations and outlets across America saying "thank you" to frontline workers in response to COVID-19, Laughlin Air Force Base in Del Rio honored the many first responders with flyovers in Del Rio, Eagle Pass, and San Angelo on Thursday afternoon. 

Although the formation arrived ahead of schedule in San Angelo in an effort to avoid severe weather that would eventually hit the area, many throughout the Concho Valley were still able to view the unique formation. 

Watch as T-38C instructor pilots from the 87 FTS, First Lieutenant Taylor Hudson and Major Matthew Goering, talk about what went into producing this experience for the many in Del Rio, Eagle Pass, and San Angelo and how this flyover means a little more for First Lieutenant Taylor Hudson.
