WATCH: The COVID-19 Economy
BROWNWOOD, TX -- Six months ago Jeff Tucker and Wes Kearny embarked on a business to change the landscape of downtown Brownwood. These days Teddy's Brewhaus one of Brownwood's most popular eateries and breweries has had to change its business model due to the coronavirus.
With Texas Governor Greg Abbott shutting down all restaurant dining rooms and bars but allowing for restaurants to carry on with curbside and takeout service, Teddy's Brewhaus is still able to serve food and beer in its famous growlers but events at their downtown spot have come to a screeching halt.
Moving forward Tucker and Kearny are playing with the hand that they've been dealt and that's to find a way to stay alive during these tough times of the coronavirus.
The two have kept Teddy's Brewhaus taps and kitchen open while adding production of hand sanitizer that's not only being distributed locally in Brownwood but throughout the State of Texas.
Watch as Jeff Tucker and Wes Kearny talk about the journey to starting Teddy's Brewhaus and what makes their hand sanitizer unique.
