The USDA continues to monitor the situation closely, with data updated daily at 6 p.m. ET. Officials have emphasized that only domestic animal cases are currently being reported in this outbreak.
Ranchers and veterinarians in affected areas are urged to remain vigilant for signs of screwworm infestation, which can cause serious harm to livestock.
